The event raised a total of $70,000 for Conejo Valley nonprofits. Harbor <br />House won the “Most Money Raised” competition and earned a $1,000 prize. Hospice of the <br />Conejo, Senior Concerns, and Conejo Community Outreach were the top three winners for “Best <br />Performances” (as chosen by the panel of judges) and were each awarded a $1,000 prize. Finally, <br />Senior Concerns and Conejo Schools Foundation won the “Voter’s Choice” competition, taking <br />home $3,000 and $2,000, respectively. More than 400 people attended this fundraiser. <br /> <br />Volunteer Placements <br /> <br />More than 20 volunteers were placed at numerous local partner agencies between July and <br />September, including Mary Hall Tree Thrift Store, Conejo Valley Botanic Garden, Many Mansions, <br />CVUSD Title 1 Elementary Schools, Volunteers in Policing, CRPD Therapeutics Unit, Conejo Free <br />Clinic, and Study Buddies. <br /> <br />Senior Nutrition Program (SNP) <br /> <br />Woooo hoooo, our SNP numbers are going up! During this period, the Senior Nutrition Program, <br />administered by CSVP, served meals to 3,328 seniors age 60 and above. Twenty-five volunteers <br />help to run this program held Monday-Friday, 11:30am–12:30pm at the Goebel Café. <br /> <br />Goebel Café Breakfast <br /> <br />Breakfast is served Monday-Friday, 9:00–11:00am at the Goebel Café. From July–September, <br />the café brought in $3,593 in revenue.
