Lange, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />Doug Nickles, Director <br />DATE: <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />SUBJECT: <br />September 8, 2022 <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Board of Directors <br />Jim Friedl, General Manage <br />Adopt amended Resolution No. 021722-A, approving the adoption of the <br />Defined Benefit Plan Trust to be administrated by Shuster Advisory Group, <br />LLC for the Conejo Recreation and Park District Retirement Plan <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt amended Resolution number 021722-A, approving the adoption of the Defined Benefit Plan <br />Trust to be administrated by Shuster Advisory Group, LLC for the Conejo Recreation and Park <br />District Retirement Plan and authorizing the General Manager to execute the documents <br />necessary therefore. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In February 2022, the Board adopted Resolution 021722-A, which authorized transfer from the <br />District's Public Agency Retirement Services (PARS) 401(a) Trust to the Defined Benefit Plan <br />Trust administered by Shuster Advisory Group, LLC (Shuster) including the services of Schwab <br />and Nyhart. <br />The current administrator (PARS) and trustee (US Bank) have requested clarifying language be <br />included in the resolution before allowing the transfer to Shuster, Schwab and Nyhart. These <br />changes are technical in nature and do not result in any material or substantive changes.
