ASLA, Executive Officer <br />DATE: :R LIZ]RIM <br />SUBJECT: Consideration of resolution approving the FY 2022-2023 proposed <br />final budget of the Mountains Recreation and Conservation <br />Authority <br />Staff Recommendation: <br />That the Governing Board adopt the attached resolution approving the <br />FY 2022-2023 proposed final budget of the Mountains Recreation and <br />Conservation Authority. <br />The governing boards are required to approve the Authority's annual <br />budget per Section 11.3 of the MRCA Joint Exercise of Powers <br />Agreement. <br />A preliminary version of this budget was approved by the governing <br />board of the Authority on June 1, 2022, the governing boards of the <br />Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District (RSRPD) on June 15, 2022, <br />the Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD) on June 16, 2022, and <br />the governing board of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy <br />(SMMC) on July 18, 2022. <br />The proposed final budget is planned to be submitted for consideration <br />to the governing boards of the RSRPD in their meeting scheduled on <br />August 3, 2022,to the SMMC for their meeting scheduled on August 15, <br />2022, and to the CRPD for their meeting scheduled on September 1, <br />2022. <br />
