A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT REQUESTING THAT <br />OT'S GENERAL DISTRICT <br />ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER: 2022 <br />BE CONSOLIDATED OTHER ELECTIONS CALLED• BE HELD • <br />THE SAME DAY AND IN THE SAME TERRITORY <br />an election will be held within the Conejo Recreation & Park District pursuant to the <br />Uniform District Election Law commencing with Section 10500 of the Elections Code on November <br />8, 2022, for the purpose of electing three members; and <br />the Board of Directors wishes the Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk <br />to conduct said election and acknowledges that the consolidated election will be held and <br />conducted in the manner prescribed in Elections Code Section 10418; and <br />pursuant to Section 10400 of the Elections Code, said election may be consolidated <br />with other elections to be held on the same day; and <br />the Board of Directors request that this District's General Election be consolidated <br />with any other election which may be held on the same date and involving the same territory. <br />That, the General District Election of this District is to be held on November 8, 2022 and <br />consolidated with any other elections held on the same day and involving all or a portion of the <br />territory of the District pursuant to Section 10400 et seq. of the Elections Code; and <br />That, pursuant to Election Code Section 10002, the District shall reimburse the County in full for <br />the service performed upon presentation of a bill from the County to the District and requests that if <br />a tie vote occurs, it will be determined by lot (Elections Code 15651). <br />AYES. <br />NOES. <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ABSENT: <br />Nellie Cusworth, Chair <br />Jim Friedl, General Manager and <br />Secretary to the Board of Directors <br />
