Recreation & Community Services <br />Recreation Division Highlights Page 1 of 6 Revised 04.2022 <br /> Recreation Division Highlights <br />Thursday, April 28, 2022 <br /> Conejo Senior Volunteer Program <br />Volunteer Appreciation Day <br />The Conejo Senior Volunteer Program celebrated National Volunteer Month by bringing back our <br />first in-person event since December 2019. On April 21 at Conejo Creek North Park, we served lunch and ice-cream treats to 300 volunteers. We also had raffle prizes and a live band. CRPD <br />Board Members and City Council members, including the Mayor, joined us to show appreciation to our volunteers. <br /> Community Events <br />LA Rams’ Super Bowl Trophy Tour <br />On Saturday, April 23, Borchard Center staff <br />represented CRPD and took part in the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl trophy event at the <br />Civic Arts Plaza. We set up a booth and had games, crafts, and publicity material for over <br />2,500 members of our community!
