Recreation & Community Services <br />Recreation Division Highlights Page 1 of 6 Revised 03.2022 <br /> Recreation Division Highlights <br />Thursday, March 31, 2022 <br /> Borchard Community Center <br /> Spring Arts & Crafts Festival <br />On Saturday, March 5, Borchard Community Center hosted its 35th annual Spring Arts and Crafts Festival. We had 60 vendor booths inside and outside selling their handcrafted, original arts and <br />crafts to our community. Food and drinks were also sold by The Middle Feast Food Truck and Kona Ice. The windy weather did not scare away any of our patrons as we had well over 600 people <br />in attendance for the show! <br />Safe Passage Youth Foundation <br />On Friday, March 18, the Safe Passage Program went on a field trip to the Rancho Potrero Community Equestrian Center with <br />54 kids, CRPD staff, and equestrian center staff. The kids were able to participate in horseback riding, horse grooming, <br />hiking, games, crafts, and more! The weather was amazing, and everyone left with a smile on their face. <br />
