Lange, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />Doug Nickles, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Approve Resolution No. 040722-B, adopting a preliminary budget for fiscal year 2022-2023, and <br />authorize the General Manager to publish the notice of adoption. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The District is required to adopt a preliminary budget for next fiscal year. The preliminary budget <br />submitted for Board consideration is the 2022-23 budget as adopted by the Board as year 2 of <br />the 2 -year budget in June 2021. <br />This preliminary budget acts as a stimulus to begin the public hearing process. Public hearings <br />on the budget will be held at the Board meetings on April 21, 2022, May 5, 2022, June 2, 2022 <br />and June 16, 2022, when the final budget will be adopted, as currently scheduled. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets Strategic Plan Vision Statement: In order to continue to serve our community and be <br />recognized as a top recreation and park district in the nation, we must be financially stable. <br />Submitted <br />e rssa ith, �m nistrator <br />Management Services <br />Attachments: 1.
