Lange, Director Chuck Huffer, Director Doug Nickles, Director GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS Tex Ward Approve the appointment of Nell Rosco and the reappointment of Del Basilio, Mary Martinich, and John Posta, to the Goebel Senior Center Commission. DISCUSSION The Goebel Senior Center Commission is an elected body with up to 15 members, and annually, in compliance with their bylaws, the Commission holds elections in March. There were five seats up for election; all were three-year terms. Three members whose terms are due to expire on June 30, 2022; Del Basilio, Mary Martinich, and John Posta applied for reappointment. In addition to the three members who reapplied, applications were received from three additional applicants to equal a total of six. Applications for those nominated for Board appointment are attached. In advance of the election, interviews were held with applicants by the Applicant Review Ad Hoc Committee made up of commissioners Sandy Barry, Nancy Healey, and Maxine Cleary. Director Holt observed the interview process. As a result of the interviews, the Applicant Review Ad Hoc Committee made recommendations to the Commission. At the March 23 meeting of the Goebel Senior Center Commission, the annual election was conducted, and four applications were recommended to serve on the Commission: all for three-year terms effective July 1, 2022. The results of the election (those that received majority votes) are as follows: Del Basilio, Mary Martinich, John Posta, and Nell Rosco.
