Audiences were thrilled to return and enjoy live theatre with a live orchestra!
The Curious Case of the Cryptid Catchers
After 20 months away, October 9 and 16 brought the return of the Young Artists Ensemble’s
Hillcrest Players to the HCFA Black Box Theatre before live audiences! THE CURIOUS CASE OF THE
CRYPTID CATCHERS delighted 4 nearly sold-out houses with its uproarious tale of a town full of
mythical creatures and the curious teens trying to track them. Our masked performers did a truly
impressive job articulating and projecting while telling a wonderfully silly story!
A Christmas Carol
YAE will present A CHRISTMAS CAROL November 5-21. Actors age 10-19 (plus a 7-year-old Tiny
Tim!) have been working hard to put on a beautiful and moving production of Charles Dickens’
classic adapted by our own Mark Andrew Reyes and directed by Georgeanne Lees. Tickets are on-
sale now for Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees at
2:00pm.
