Minutes 06-30-21 <br />Page 3 <br />F. Budget and Finance Committee- As reported by Reuben <br />1. No meeting in July. <br />2. Will go back to regular meeting schedule beginning in August. <br />3. Co-chair of committee will be selected after meeting today. <br />4. New budget will be in effect 7/1/2021. <br />G. Bingo Committee- As reported by Cleary <br />1. First Bingo session back at Goebel Center had 102 people in <br />attendance. <br />2. Basilio and Cleary are stepping down as co-chair persons. <br />3. Bingo will continue 3 days a week and the last Friday night of every <br />other month. <br />H. Programs Committee- As reported by Toyen <br />1. Series name was changed to "Entertainment Live." <br />2. California Dreamin' will be performing at Goebel Center in September. <br />3. Larry Janss will be speaking at Goebel Center in October. <br />Bus Trip Committee- As reported by Martinich <br />No Report <br />7. Staff Reports- As reported by Hamm <br />A. Summer BBQ — Friday, June 18 at 5:00pm <br />1. 75 seniors attended and were treated to live music, a bbq chicken <br />dinner, and a variety of mini pies for dessert. <br />B. Patriotic Picnic — Friday, July 23 at 5:00pm <br />1. Live music, hot dogs & hamburgers, ice cream, and dancing all while <br />celebrating America the beautiful. <br />C. Making Home Safe — Wednesday, July 28 at 2:00pm <br />1. The Alzheimer's Association of Los Angeles and California Phones <br />will be sharing methods of how to modify your home to help a loved <br />one with dementia stay at home safely. <br />D.
