MOUNTAINS RECREATION AND CONSERVATION AUTHORITY <br />June 2, 2021 <br />Resolution No. 21-92 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE MOUNTAINS RECREATION <br />AND CONSERVATION AUTHORITY ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR <br />THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 <br />Resolved, That the Governing Board of the Mountains Recreation and Conservation <br />Authority (MRCA) hereby: <br />1. ADOPTS the staff recommendation dated June 2, 2021; and <br />2. ADOPTS the Preliminary Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Budget as specified in the staff <br />report dated June 2, 2021; and <br />3. AUTHORIZES the Financial Officer to take such steps as are necessary to execute <br />and implement the budget; and; <br />4. AUTHORIZES the Financial Officer to carry out and implement the budget adopted <br />by this resolution, including such inter -category transfers within the total budget as <br />may be permitted. by the Governing Board. The Governing Board may authorize <br />the Financial Officer to augment any category of the budget by no more than 10 <br />percent by reduction of other categories so long as the total amount is not affected <br />thereby; and <br />5. AUTHORIZES the Financial Officer, in accordance with provisions of the joint <br />powers agreement, to augment amounts available for expenditure in any category <br />by the amount he feels will be received in Fiscal Year 2021-2022, providing that a <br />corresponding revenue source is available, documented in the MRCA Financial <br />Accounting System, and that any such expense augmentation along with the <br />identified funding source or sources shall be reported to the Governing Board. <br />
