Staff have made every effort to optimize pool space and provide as many timeslots as possible for patrons, but there are
simply not enough hours in the day to accommodate every request at this time.
Wait Lists at Borchard Community Center (BOC) were for the “You’ve Been Egged” deliveries which sold out very
quickly, along with Skateboarding classes and Tot Programs which have high demand and limited instructors.
Similarly, the Conejo Community Center (CCC) had Wait Lists for its Dance, Gymnastics & Tumbling classes, as well as Archery and several Parent/Child classes. The Dos Vientos Community Center (DVC) contracts with a Youth Soccer
program and a Horseback riding program which were also not able to accommodate the high demand this session.
The majority of Wait Listed participants in the Sports unit were primarily for tennis, pickleball, and golf programs
taught by independent contractors who have chosen to only accept 6-10 participants per class. Staff encourage the
independent contractors to add additional classes whenever possible.
