Approve revised job titles and specifications for Facilities Maintenance Worker ll, Facilites <br />Maintenance Crew Leader, and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor <br />2. Reclassify the Facilities Maintenance Worker II position from range 41 to range 43 <br />3. Reclassify the Facilities Maintenance Crew Leader position from range 45 to range 47 <br />4. Approved revised job specification for Supervising Park Ranger <br />DISCUSSION <br />Facilities Maintenance Worker 11, Crew Leader, Supervisor <br />The revised job titles and specifications more accurately describe the actual duties and <br />responsibilities required of in-house staff to perform the jobs of the Facilities Maintenance <br />Division. Attached are the original, red line/strikethroug h, and final proposed versions of each job <br />title and specification. <br />This reclassification to a higher range for the Facilities Maintenance Worker II (from range 41 to <br />43) and Facilities Maintenance Crew Leader (from range 45 to 47) better reflects the skill level <br />required and comparable pay to other comparable positions with comparable local agencies. <br />Additionally, the reclassification better reflects the skill level required for comparable positions <br />within the District (Facilities Maintenance Worker II -Equipment Operator, Grounds Worker III, <br />Irrigation Technician, Pest Control Operator; Facilities Maintenance Crew Leader— Lead Ranger). <br />These personnel actions would be in effect in the next fiscal year and would have an approximate <br />additional $33,000 annual cost to payroll which is included in the proposed budget. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES <br />403 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 <br />805-495-6471 1 Fax: 805-497-3199 1 parks@crpd.org I www.crpd.org <br />
