Holt, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />DATE: June 3, 2021 <br />TO: Board of Directors <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General Manager , <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 060321-C Ordering the <br />Levy of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 94-1 (Dos <br />Vientos) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt Resolution No. 060321-C ordering the levy of assessments for LIVID 94-1 (Dos Vientos). <br />DISCUSSION <br />On May 6, 2021, the Board of Directors adopted a Resolution of Intention to levy the assessments <br />for LIVID 94-1 (Dos Vientos) for the fiscal year 2021-22. The resolution set the date, time and place <br />for the Public Hearing required for the levy of the annual assessments. The Notice of Public <br />Hearing was published in the Thousand Oaks Acorn on Thursday, May 20, 2021. Additional public <br />notification of the District budgetary process was advertised in the District's Summer Brochure. <br />The attached resolution confirms and approves the final Engineer's Report for LIVID 94-1 <br />(available online at www.c[pd.orp/94-1ER2021) and confirms the levies contained therein.
