Parking Lot, Restroom, and Shade Structures <br />Conejo Creek Dog Park <br />Project includes installation of paved parking lot with <br />landscaping, permanent restroom and (2) shade <br />structures for large and small dog areas. The project <br />has been awarded with construction to commence <br />late Spring 2021. <br />Skate Park Renovation <br />Borchard Community Park <br />Multiple focus group meetings have been held to <br />kickstart the multi-year planning and fundraising <br />effort to renovate/expand the skate park. The goal of <br />the project is to refine existing features that have <br />been successful for the community and expand other <br />areas for varying skating types, levels, and inclusivity <br />of all users. The skate park will be in the same <br />location but is planned to nearly double in footprint. <br />Park Uss o g n <br />Conejo Creek Southwest Neighborhood Park <br />Staff is in coordination with the city to secure building <br />permits and approvals for construction. The next step <br />is to finalize permits and put out to bid for <br />construction. The 14.1 -acre park will feature a <br />Chumash-themed playground, parking lot, solar - <br />powered restroom, shaded picnic area, fitness <br />stations, limited natural turf, drought -tolerant <br />landscaping, water efficient irrigation systems, and <br />walking/equestrian paths. The project bidding will <br />commence mid -2021 with construction to follow. <br />
