Holt, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />TO: Board of Directors <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General Mana <br />SUBJECT: Amendment #4 to C tract for Dr ught Response and irrigatoon �rllJpv r) ;�� �rn ci'ri`i' <br />Services at Various Park --F cilities <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize General Manager to enter into Amendment #4 to the Contract for Drought Response and <br />Irrigation Improvement Services with FS Contractors, Inc. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In June 2016, after a competitive Request for Proposal process, the Board awarded a five-year <br />contract with two optional one-year extensions. <br />In July 2016, the District executed Amendment #1 to the contract with FS increasing the not -to - <br />exceed amount for Fiscal Year 20162017 to $600,000 in order to timely compete and receive <br />rebate funds from the Metropolitan Nater District. <br />In February 2019, the District executed Amendment #2 to the contract with Fs increasing the not - <br />to -exceed amount for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 from $200,000 to $250,000 in order to complete <br />additional drought response and irrigation improvement services at parks throughou`L� the District. <br />In February 2020, the District executed Amendment #3 to the contract with FS increasing the not - <br />to -exceed amount for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 from $200,000 to "'300,000 in order to cornpeie <br />additional drought response and irrigation improvement services at parks throughout the District. <br />Amendment #4 (attached) extends the current contract to June 30, 2022 and increases the not - <br />to -exceed amount for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 from $200,000 to $35©,000 in order to complete <br />additional drought response and irrigation improvement services at parks throughout the District. <br />All other terms and conditions of the July 2016 contract apply.
