September 21, 2001
Page 5
B. Adoption Of Mountains Recreation And Conservation Authority (MRCA)
Budget For Fiscal Year 2001-2002
Jorgensen referenced the documentation, and said that the budget is
prepared by MRCA.
Berger stated that the budget was previously discussed and approved by the
governing body of the MRCA in July.
In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Berger and Lange explained that long-
term projections, work programs, and acquisitions have been identified, and
an inventory can be made available.
It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried M to approve
the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Budget
for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as presented in the submitted
documentation.
C. Action To Elect A Representative To The California Special Districts
Association (CSDA) Board Of Directors
Gibson referenced the documentation.
It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to cast a
ballot for Judith Cofer as a representative to the CSDA Board of
Directors.
D. Adoption of Resolution No. 090601-C, Ordering The Sale Of Parcel AP#
669-"20-305 (155 E. Wilbur Road) And Resolution No. 090601-D
Ordering The Sale Of Parcel AP# 667-0-120-380 (Rancho Conejo) On
The Open Real Estate Market
Sorensen provided background information, and referenced the August 2,
2001 adoption of a resolution declaring the District's intent to sell the two
parcels. He stated that the required public notification and Government Code
requirements were executed; the Government Code provides a Public
Hearing to consider protests; no formal responses and no protests were
received; and if the Board adopts resolutions ordering sale of the properties,
staff recommends that the properties be sold on the open market rather than
through the bid process.
