She presented an overview of staffs recent meeting with representatives of ETI (Equestrian Trails Incorporated) and Thousand Oaks High School Cross Country Team. She said that ETI is opposed to the use of the Waverly site by the Cross Country Team; alternative sites were suggested, including Conejo Creek North, Conejo Creek South, and Lang Ranch Community Park; the Cross Country Coach said that Conejo Creek North would be investigated as a possible site; staff recommendation is to allow the Cross Country Team to use the Waverly site once or twice a year for meets, and to use alternative sites at all other times; and one meet has already been scheduled and permitted for October 4. In response to Gibson's suggestion, Benton said that ETI is always notified in advance of meets, and appropriate signage will also be posted. In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Sorensen said that the District is -aware of ETI scheduling. C. Administration Division Report Jorgensen stated that, because expenses relative to 401 Hillcrest are estimates with no historic precedent to draw upon, those aspects of the budget may have to be adjusted.
