Resolution No. 080201-B <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS LANDS <br />AND INTENTION TO SELL SURPLUS LANDS <br />WHEREAS the Conejo Recreation and Park District (the "District") owns two parcels of <br />real property, identified by the Ventura County Assessor's Office as AN 669-0-010-305 <br />(commonly referred to as 155 East Wilbur Road, Thousand Oaks) and AP# 667-0-120-380 <br />(located along the north side of Rancho Conejo Boulevard at the future extension of Corporate <br />Center Drive); and <br />WHEREAS complete legal descriptions of the above -referenced two properties are <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and <br />WHEREAS in accordance with the provisions of the California Government Code <br />Section 54220 et. seq., the District intends to classify each of the above -referenced two <br />properties as "surplus land," determined to no longer be necessary for the District's use, and to <br />declare its intent to sell such properties. <br />NOW, THEREFORE <br />A. The District hereby declares the above-described parcels of land "Surplus Land" and <br />declares its intent to sell such properties. <br />B. A public hearing for any persons wishing to object to the proposed designation of <br />such lands as surplus lands and the sales of said properties will be held on <br />September 6, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the regular meeting of the District at the Goebel <br />Senior Center, 1385 East Janss Road, Thousand Oaks, California. Any persons who <br />wish to speak shall appear and be heard, after first submitting any objections to the <br />proposed sales in writing in advance of the hearing date. <br />C.
