June 21, 2001 <br />Page 3 <br />In response to Gibson's concern, Sorensen discussed risk management and <br />horticultural efforts, relative to trees on District land. <br />Bill Buratto, representing AYSO Region 9, spoke in support of the Fiscal <br />Year 2001-2002 Budget, specifically identifying the capital improvements at <br />Conejo Creek South. <br />Steve Henson, representing the Conejo Valley Little League, spoke in <br />support of the commitment to Conejo Creek South, and requested budgeting <br />for a full-size baseball field. <br />Richard Newman thanked the District for raising the priority for improvement <br />of Conejo Creek South fields. <br />Gibson continued the Public Hearing to the next regular meeting. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to approve <br />the Master Plan revisions. <br />7. B. Adoption of Resolution No. 062101-B A Resolution Considering The <br />Levy Of Assessments For Fiscal Year 2001-2002 LMD 94-1, Dos Vientos <br />Park. <br />Gibson announced that this is the time and place fixed for the public hearing <br />relative to the levy of annual assessments for costs of maintenance of <br />improvements for Landscape Maintenance District No. 94-1 (Dos Vientos <br />Park). Ward said that the notice was given in the manner and form as <br />required by law. <br />Sorensen recommended adoption of Resolution 062101-B confirming the <br />levy of assessments for fiscal year 2001-2002 LMD 94-1. He reviewed <br />completion of legal requirements, and authorization of assessments. <br />As no one was in attendance who wished to address the Board, Gibson <br />declared the Public Hearing closed. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0, to adopt <br />Resolution 062101-B confirming the levy of assessments for fiscal year <br />2001-2002 LMD 94-1, that it be read in title only and all other readings be <br />waived. <br />
