L A F SYNOPSIS OF MINUTES LOCAL INVESTMENT ADVISORY BOARD Meeting of June 6, 2001 The main topic of discussion was finalizing the program for the 2001 LAIF Annual Conference. The formal program will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2001, in Sacramento at the Sacramento Convention Center. A tour of the State Treasurer's Office and an opportunity to observe the investment trading process live will take place Friday morning, September 28, 2001. Conference sessions will include an eco- nomic outlook and overview of the LAIF AUDIT CONFIRMATIONS Fiscal year end is drawing to a close and many local agencies will be sending audit confirmations to LAIR The audit confirmations are processed in the order received and in an effort to expedite your request, please remember to include on your request the agency name, the LAIF account number, and the accounting period close of business date. The Annual Information Updates assist the LAIF staff in maintaining the most current account information for the LAIF participants. Each agency should have two currently authorized persons to review, sign, and return this form as soon as possible.
