Las Posas Road, Suite 117 <br />Camarillo, CA 93010 <br />Call to Order <br />Vice -President Jim Acosta"called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. thanking all the <br />districts for their attendance at this special dinner meeting. President John Rush is out of <br />town. <br />Attendance <br />Calleguas Municipal Water District <br />Camarillo Health Care District <br />Camrosa Water District <br />LAFCO <br />Montalvo Municipal Improvement District <br />Ojai Valley Sanitation District <br />Oxnard Harbor District <br />Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District <br />Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District <br />Ventura Regional Sanitation District <br />Ventura River County Water <br />United Way <br />2. United Way Presentation <br />Mike Silacci, General Manager, External Affairs at Pacific Bell, and Board Member, <br />Campaign Chair for United Way, stressed to each district the importance of giving their <br />employees the opportunity to give. He then introduced Cheryl Solomon, President of <br />United Way, who announced their $5.7 million goal with 53 member agencies serving <br />over 100,000 people. <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />It was moved, seconded, and duly carried to approve the November 6, 2000 VCSDA <br />minutes. <br />4. Treasurer's Report <br />It was moved, seconded, and duly carried to accept the Treasurer's Report presented. <br />5. Vice -President's Report <br />Jim Acosta discussed the election of officers that will be held at the Annual Dinner <br />Meeting. AI Fox will head the Nominating Committee and George Lange will head the <br />Awards Committee. <br />
