Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $379,732.91 <br />Payroll $413,000.00 <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Cusworth, and carried 5-0 to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented. <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection, and Outdoor <br />Access for All Act of 2018 — Per Capita Grant Program Deed Restrictions <br />In October of 2019, the Board adopted a resolution to approve CRPD's application <br />for participation in the State's Per Capita Grant Program. The two parks being <br />considered for this grant are Southshore Hills and Lang Ranch Neighborhood. <br />Required under the program are deed restrictions to be recorded on the title of <br />each property. The deed restriction protects the State's interest in the property <br />and ensures the property will be used for purposes consistent with the grant <br />contract. <br />It was moved by Cusworth, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to approve <br />deed restrictions required under the California Drought, Water, Parks, <br />Climate, Coastal Protection, and Outdoor Access for All Act of 2018 — Per <br />Capital Grant Program, for playground upgrades at Southshore Hills Park <br />and Lang Ranch Neighborhood Park. <br />B. Revision of Personnel Policy Manual <br />Friedl introduced Adrianna Guzman, Esq., from Liebert, Cassidy Whitmore and <br />Shelly Howell, Human Resources Supervisor. Howell reported this is a new, <br />refreshed version of the District's Personnel Manual. Changes include clarification <br />of policy language, updated legal changes that have taken place over the years, <br />and updated definitions of types of employees.
