After having to cancel both our April and December luncheons, CSVP sent out letters and a <br />small gift to our 870 incredible volunteers. <br />The Conejo Senior Volunteer Program (CSVP) and the Goebel Adult Community Center partnered <br />with Home Instead Senior Care to provide gift cards to seniors in need during the holiday season. <br />We collected a nice greeting card with gift cards for 70 local seniors in the Conejo Valley. <br />1kM-*T91TJ11-& <br />CSVP received a $10,000 Social Service Relief Grant from the City of Thousand Oaks this past <br />December. Funds from this grant will be used to purchase and provide supplies to volunteers to <br />make handmade masks for local partner agencies, crochet/knit/sew hats, scarves, pillowcases, <br />and purses for James Storehouse, make aprons, caps, and mastectomy bags for Los Robles <br />Hospital, and make any other needed items for LSS, Many Mansions, and more. <br />The Conejo Senior Volunteer Program's (CSVP) Annual Holiday Boutique Sale took place at the <br />Main Entrance outside the Goebel Adult Community Center on Friday, December 4, from 1 0:00am- <br />2:00pm. Boutique items available included a multitude of gifts, including jewelry and beautiful <br />handmade items. All profits support the Conejo Senior Volunteer Program; Event adhered to strict <br />CDC, State, County guidelines. I r; I 1� <br />From October -December 2020, the Senior Nutrition Program, administered by CSVP, served <br />10,067 meals to seniors' age 60 and older. Since March 13, this congregate meal program has <br />been modified to serve our seniors via a drive-thru/walk-up option.
