Recreation & Community Services <br />Recreation Division Highlights Page 1 of 5 Revised 01.2021 <br /> Recreation Division Highlights <br />Thursday, January 28, 2021 <br /> <br />Conejo Senior Volunteer Program <br /> <br />Wellness Fest “On the Road” <br />From 11:30am to 1:30pm on Wednesday, January 13, the Conejo Senior Volunteer Program and Goebel Adult Community Center were joined by 400 seniors at this fantastic drive-thru event. <br />CSVP staff, Advisory Council members, and Goebel Center Staff handed out 400 goody bags filled with current wellness information from 30 local partner agencies at no cost. Four hundred free <br />lunches, sponsored by The Reserve at Thousand Oaks, were also distributed as well as CSVP’s <br />senior services-focused 2021 Conejo Valley Partner Agency Resource Directory. <br />Free Income Tax Preparation <br />CSVP will be offering FREE Income Tax Preparation services for Seniors age 60 or older (any income <br />level) OR persons with an income of $56,000 or less, regardless of age. We are currently working with tax coordinators and the IRS to develop a hybrid virtual/in-person program with limited <br />appointments. We will have more information by the beginning of February. Ventura County will need to transition to the “Red Tier” (Substantial Transmission) to open our in-person program. <br />
