The purpose of CAPRI <br />is to arrange and administer programs of insurance and to purchase excess insurance coverage. <br />CAPRI is governed by a board of directors which controls the operations of the pool, including <br />selection of management and approval of the budget. At June 30, 2019, the District's coverage <br />was as follows: <br />General and auto liability coverage have a $1,000,000 limit per occurrence, and public officials <br />and employee liability coverage have a $25 million annual aggregate limit per member district. <br />CAPRI has an excess policy for these coverages with limits of $24 million in excess of $1,000,000. <br />The District has a $100,000 deductible for this program. All-risk property loss coverage has an <br />annual aggregate limit of $1,000,000,000 shared by the membership and is subjected to a $2,000 <br />deductible per occurrence payable by the District. <br />Flood and earthquake coverage have annual aggregate limit of $10,000,000 and $5,000,000, <br />respectively, for all member districts. The deductible for all loss or damage arising from the risks <br />of flood and/or earthquake is $50,000 per occurrence or 5% of the value of the building, contents <br />and/or structure damaged, whichever is greater. <br />The District is self-insured for its workers' compensation insurance coverage, up to $350,000 per <br />claim. <br />Me <br />
