Approval of Minutes of November 19, 2020 Special Board Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $467,219.16 <br />Payroll $383,000.00 <br />It was moved by Cusworth, seconded by Nickles, and carried 5-0 to <br />approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />CRPD Update regarding COVID-19 <br />Friedl reported on changes since the last Board meeting. On November 21st, the <br />State issued a limited stay-at-home order; this has not had a large impact on CRPD. <br />On December 1st, OSHA issued new regulations that are, for the most part, already <br />in CRPD's COVID Prevention Plan; something new is a clarification regarding office <br />space and mask wearing. Today, a new criterion based on ICU bed capacity per <br />region was announced. Ventura County is in the Southern California region. When <br />the ICU bed capacity in a region drops below 15%, stricter orders will be put in place. <br />It's likely that virtually all of California will drop below this percentage. If our region <br />does drop below 15%, playgrounds will close again, as will indoor recreation <br />buildings, museums, and movie theaters. Outdoor recreation will continue with the <br />use of masks and social distancing. CRPD staff may have to rely more on <br />telecommuting than they have recently. CRPD staff now has 1 positive, 2 <br />quarantined due to possible exposure and 2 positives among rental/contract patrons. <br />The goal is for everyone to remain healthy and to avoid a worksite outbreak. <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Confirmation of Board Appointments and Assignments <br />Traditionally, this Board item is on the same agenda as the swearing in of <br />newly -elected or re-elected Board members. However, due to timing issues <br />regarding the County's certifying of the recent election, the swearing in <br />process will occur at the next Board meeting on December 17t". With the <br />
