CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />November 19, 2020 <br />4:00 • <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />Lange called the meeting to order at 4:02 pm and McCrea led the flag salute. <br />Directors Present: Cusworth, Holt, Huffer, Lange, Nickles <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Smith, <br />Senior Park Planner Mooney, IT Manager Segedie and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. IAL PRESENTATIONS <br />McCrea ac <br />Wyatt McCrea reported that due to the matching grant program and generous <br />donors, it has been a very busy year regarding renovations and improvements at the <br />Ranch. These include painting the exterior of the main house, upper barn and milk <br />house foundation and reinforcement, and asphalt paving. The hope is to have a <br />grand reopening next year — perhaps at the Cowboy Cookout. McCrea expressed <br />deep gratitude for his longstanding relationship with CRPD. Board members shared <br />some of their favorite memories of McCrea Ranch events. McCrea answered Board <br />members' questions and was thanked for his informative presentation. <br />Scott Buchanan, Supervisor, Hillcrest Center for the Arts, shared a video of how <br />he and his team have kept the arts alive during the pandemic. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to approve th <br />agenda as presented. i <br />
