The property conveyance enabled Camrosa to
construct a pump station that serves the surrounding area. The parcel is situated at the top of the hill and
is accessed from the adjacent nursery on Southern California Edison property to the west.
Recently, Camrosa Water District expressed an interest in expanding the area to accommodate an
emergency diesel generator. As a "standby" piece of equipment, it will only run during emergencies, with
an occasional burst to exercise the motor (couple of times per month for 15 -20 minutes). The equipment
will be enclosed by an 8 -foot masonry block wall, beige in color to match the surrounding terrain. t will not
be directly visible from McCrea Ranch proper. The proposed easement area is approximately 1,575 -SF
and will be located on the north side of the existing Camrosa parcel.
The Public Utility Easement deed accompanies this report for your consideration. in exchange for Conejo
Recreation & Park District's time and cooperation in granting the proposed easement, the District is
imposing a one-time fee of $500.
STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE
Meets 2020 Strategic Plan Goal 4.0 Partnerships Objective and Strategy: Our objective is to collaborate
with other entities in order to fulfill the District's mission.
