Holt, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />To: Board of Directors <br />From: Jim Friedl, General Manag <br />Subject: Conejo Recreation and Park District's Disaster Management Plan <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Review and approve the District's Disaster Management Plan. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The attached Disaster Management Plan (DMP) provides a generic structure for the District's <br />response to local, regional, and national/international disaster incidents. For each incident, the District <br />will tailor its response accordingly. <br />The DMP discusses the Districts employee's roles and responsibilities, training resources, and <br />objectives for the upcoming year. <br />The DMP will be reviewed annually and updated as appropriate by the CRPD' .) Safety Committee. <br />As part of the annual review, staff will consider the latest District procedures and practices as well as <br />information from regulatory agencies in order to keep the plan current and relevant. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets 2020 Strategic Plan Goal 5,9: Disaster preparedness. Be prepared and respond appropriately <br />to disasters and emergencies guided by the City's Emergency Operations Plc --.:in (which is part of <br />California's Standardized Emergency Management System) policies and procedures.
