A. Plans and specifications describing the general nature, location and extent of the <br />improvements to be maintained and the extent of such maintenance, <br />B. An estimate of the cost of the maintenance of the improvements for the <br />Maintenance District for the referenced fiscal year; <br />C. A diagram for the Maintenance District, showing the area and properties proposed <br />to be assessed; <br />D. An annual assessment for Fiscal Year 2020/2021 of the estimated costs of the <br />maintenance of those improvements to be maintained during such Fiscal Year, <br />assessing the net amount upon assessable lots and/or parcels within the <br />Maintenance District in proportion to the special benefits received. <br />The Assessment Engineer's Report, as presented, is hereby approved on a preliminary basis, <br />and is ordered to be filed in the Office of the Secretary of the Board of Directors as a permanent <br />record and to remain open to public inspection and shall then submit the same to this legislative <br />body for its immediate review and consideration. <br />SECTION 3. The above Assessment Engineer's Report includes the costs and expenses of said <br />maintenance and/or servicing relating to the improvements to be maintained and serviced during <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021. <br />SECTION 4. The Secretary of the Board of Directors shall certify to the passage and adoption <br />of this Resolution, and the minutes of this meeting shall so reflect the presentation of the <br />Assessment Engineer's Report. <br />SECTION 5. The public interest and convenience requires, and it is the intention of this <br />legislative body, to levy and collect assessments to pay the annual costs and expenses for the <br />maintenance and/or servicing of the improvements in the three phases for the above -referenced <br />Maintenance District which will ultimately be maintained upon the acceptance by this Board of <br />Directors of such improvements for maintenance. Such improvements are generally described <br />as: <br />The installation, operation, maintenance and servicing of park landscaping and <br />facilities, including park landscaping and open space areas, including trails, <br />wetlands, wildlife habitats, trees, shrubs, grass and other ornamental vegetation, <br />walkways, irrigation systems, drainage devices, lighting, park and recreation <br />improvements and appurtenant facilities, generally located in the following <br />locations. <br />• Park Site A <br />• Park Site B <br />• Park Site C <br />• Park Site D <br />• Dedicated open space areas (approximately 1,203 of the proposed 1,245 <br />acres) <br />SECTION 6. The improvements are of special benefit to the properties within the boundaries of <br />the Maintenance District, which Maintenance District the legislative body previously declared to <br />2 <br />
