In order to consolidate the election on that date, it is necessary
that the Board adopt a resolution ordering consolidation to be filed with the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors.
Further, pursuant to Section 13307 of the State of California Elections Code, the Board acted on
July of 1980 to establish limitations regarding candidates' statements. Specifically, that each
candidate would not be allowed to submit a statement consisting of more than 200 words, that
each candidate would pay a pro -rated share of the cost of printing, and that charges for handling
of the statement and additional mailing of candidates' materials would not be borne by the district.
The attached notice to the County Clerk is consistent with District policy.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES
403 West Hillcrest Drive I Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223
(805) 495-6471 1 FAX: (805) 497-3199 1 Email: parks@crpd.org I Website: www.crpd.org
