In order to consolidate the election on that date, it is necessary <br />that the Board adopt a resolution ordering consolidation to be filed with the Clerk of the Board of <br />Supervisors. <br />Further, pursuant to Section 13307 of the State of California Elections Code, the Board acted on <br />July of 1980 to establish limitations regarding candidates' statements.
