Holt, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Design and Environmental <br />Authorize staff to advertise Request for Proposals regarding design and environmental services <br />to develop more detailed plans of Conejo Community Pare and Center. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Throughout the past year, staff has held numerous public, stakeWder, and Staff meetings, to <br />assess recreational needs at the Conejo Community Park and Center. From these efforts, a well- <br />received concept plan (attached) has been developed which includes renovation of existing park <br />features as well as a new expanded community center building. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets 2020 Strategic Plan Element Objective and Strategy 2.0: Facilities — Our objective is to <br />provide and maintain recreational facilities that meet the needs of the community. Our strategy is <br />to effectively plan and allocate resources t© implement the District's Master Plan. <br />Meets 2020 Strategic Plan Goal 2.3: Maintain the 10 -year Capital Improvement Plan. Regularly <br />update the 10 -year Capital Improvement Plan to prioritize projects and effectively plan and <br />allocate future resources. As capital funding allows, execute, implement and develop projects <br />each year in accordance with the plan.
