The Conejo Senior Volunteer Program along with 19 <br />nonprofits raised over $35,000 for their organizations. Harbor House and <br />Center4SpecialNeeds became CSVP Partner Agencies through this event. Over 300 <br />people attended this event. The Charity Karaoke, Sing for a Cause fundraiser was <br />recognized at the City Council meeting on October 8, and Mayor Rob McCoy presented <br />CSVP with a certificate from the City of Thousand Oaks. <br />2.CSVP Boutique Remodel <br />CSVP reopened the doors to its Boutique on September 16. Make sure to check out our <br />handmade items, 50 cent greeting cards, vintage goods, and more. Thank you to CRPD, <br />the City of Thousand Oaks, the CSVP Advisory Council, and our wonderful volunteers for <br />helping create this new, beautiful space. This is one of CSVP’s most successful <br />fundraisers and the proceeds help us with Wellness Fest and Charity Karaoke Events and <br />allows us to have two wonderful Volunteer Appreciations throughout the year. <br />3.CSVP Donations <br />CSVP groups, the Nifty Ladies and Busy Bees, Crafters, and Teddy Bears handmade <br />over 200 items. These items were donated to CSVP Partner Agencies, including James <br />Storehouse, School on Wheels, Every Child’s Dream, Many Mansions, and more. <br />Attendance: <br />Number of current volunteers: 960 <br />Number of volunteer hours served: 36,400 <br />Number of partner agencies: 75
