Holt, Director <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />Doug Nickles, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Award purchase in the total amount of $110,264.00 to Velocity Truck Center as follows: <br />• One (1) 2020 Freightliner M2 106 Dump Truck in the amount of $112,264.00 through the <br />national Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract (#052417 -PBL), less a trade-in credit of <br />$2,000, for a net of $110,264.00. <br />Funds are available in the Equipment Reserve Fund. <br />DISCUSSION <br />One (1) 2020 Freightliner M2 106 Dump Truck will replace current asset #5073, a 2001 International <br />4700 Dump Truck. The proposed Dump Truck will be purchased on Sourcewell's national cooperative <br />purchasing contract via Velocity Truck Center and fulfilled by PB Loader; 2020 Freightliner M2 106 <br />Dump Truck on contract #052417 -PBL. The truck meets the District's specified requirements. <br />Asset #5073 will no longer be compliant with California Air Resources Board On -Road Diesel <br />regulations and must be retired out of the fleet. The District will receive a trade-in amount of $2,000. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets 2019 Strategic Plan Element 3.4: Maintain an annual equipment replacement plan. Provide <br />funding for all District equipment valued over $5,000, based upon equipment life expectancy and <br />expected inflation; complete inventory of equipment assets; establish a process for ongoing updates <br />and inventories. <br />Respectfully submitted by, <br />T.
