CSVP Free Income Tax Program <br />CSVP’s Free Income Tax Assistance Program took place February 4 - April 15 at Conejo <br />Creek South Community Building, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm and at Newbury <br />Park Library on Wednesdays, 8:30am-4:00pm. 47 Volunteers prepared 2,210 Free <br />Income Tax Returns. 2,011 of the returns were for seniors 60+. Volunteers worked <br />over 5,200 hours during this time. <br /> <br /> <br />2. National Volunteer Week <br />Volunteer Appreciation in the Park <br />In celebration of National Volunteer Week which took place April 7-13, CSVP held its <br />annual Volunteer Appreciation at Conejo Creek North Park. About 250 volunteers joined <br />us for a barbeque, games, and tons of fun! <br /> <br /> <br />3. CSVP New Partner Agencies <br />CSVP helps place volunteers at 70+ local partner agencies and donates hundreds of <br />handmade items to nonprofits in our community. New partner agencies include Assisted <br />Angels, Center4SpecialNeeds, Food Share at the Christian Church of Thousand Oaks, <br />Mad Attic Boutique, and Senior Alliance for Empowerment. <br /> <br /> <br />Attendance: <br />Number of current volunteers: 960 <br />Number of volunteer hours served: 34,700 <br />Number of partner agencies: 75 <br />
