Holt, Director <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />Doug Nickles, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Approve the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Preliminary Budget for <br />Fiscal Year 2019-20. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In accordance with Section 11.3 of the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JPA), MRCA's <br />Preliminary Budget is submitted to the District for approval. The attached Preliminary Budget is <br />scheduled to be approved by the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy and Rancho Simi <br />Recreation and Park District at their June meetings, and by the MRCA Board at its July meeting. <br />The preliminary budget submitted for consideration is the 2018-19 adopted budget, adjusted for <br />significant non-recurring items. This action provides authority for expenditures beginning July <br />1, 2019, while providing time for development of the final budget, currently underway. The final <br />budget is anticipated to be presented to the governing boards for approval in the late July/early <br />August 2019 time frame. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN <br />4.2 Develop, maintain and enhance relationships with...
