STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Park Design <br />Conejo Creek Southwest Neighborhood Park <br />New 14.1 -acre neighborhood park development <br />features a Chumash-themed playground, parking <br />lot, restroom, shaded picnic area, fitness <br />stations, limited natural turf, drought -tolerant <br />landscaping, water efficient irrigation system, and <br />walking/equestrian paths. Environmental analysis <br />completed, design, planning and approval efforts <br />continuing with construction to follow, dependent <br />on construction funding. This proposed park site <br />will provide parkland to the existing adjacent <br />neighborhood, as well as the growing population <br />of the Boulevard Specific Plan area as new <br />housing is developed. <br />it X <br />Ah_ <br />Tom: <br />Meets 2019 Strategic Plan Element 2.3: Maintain the 10 -year Capital Improvement Plan. <br />Regularly update the 10 -year Capital Improvement Plan to prioritize projects and effectively plan <br />and allocate future resources. As capital funding allows, execute, implement and develop projects <br />each year in accordance with the plan. This Plan should include funds for accessibility <br />improvements associated with park improvements.
