March 21, 2019 <br />Page 3 <br />Rory Trujillo, Thousand Oaks resident, expressed concerns over privacy issues regarding <br />the park. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to adopt Resolution 032119- <br />6, to approve Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Conejo Creek Southwest Park <br />Project, that it be read in title only and all further readings should be waived. <br />10. Directors' Reports & Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange reported he attended a Ventura County Board of Supervisors hearing last week <br />regarding a countywide habitat connectivity and wildlife corridor issue. It passed with a 3-2 <br />vote. Cusworth attended the Conejo Schools Foundation Soiree; she and Nickles recently <br />talked to some Off -Leash Area representatives. She attended a Chumash Board of Directors <br />meeting and met with CVUSD Board of Education member Bill Gorback; she plans to meet <br />with him again in six months. Huffer continues to work on seniors' taxes three days a week; <br />there is a month or so to go. He mentioned how good the soccer fields are looking due to <br />recent rains and closures. He will be joining Hare on a one -day trip to Sacramento tomorrow <br />to accept, along with Nickles and representatives from RRM, an award from California Parks <br />and Recreation Society (CPRS) for Sapwi Trails Community Park. <br />12.
