Holt, Director <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />Doug Nickles, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />TO: Board of Directors <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General Manage <br />SUBJECT: Proposed Updates to Con' ecreation and Park District's Five - <br />Plan (2019-2023) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve proposed updates to the District's Five -Year Strategic Plan 2019-2023. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Year Strategic <br />At the February 711, Board meeting, the Board reviewed, discussed and commented on proposed <br />changes to the District's Five -Year Strategic Pian. Staff has tried to capture the Board members input <br />and comments during that meeting, and those changes in a new redline/Wkeeet version of the <br />Strategic Plan are attached. <br />In addition, although most of the work in the Strategic Plan is now considered "ongoing", staff has <br />included a proposed target year to focus specifically on some of the Strategic goals. The proposed <br />target years are included in brackets at the end of certain Strategic goals (ie. [201 9 1 2020]).
