Holt, Director <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />Doug Nickles, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />SUBJECT: Calleguas Municipal Water District Request for Easement Deed at Sapwi 'Trails <br />Community Park <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize General Manager to grant an easement to Calleguas Municipal Water District for the <br />installation of a fiber optic line at Sapwi Trials Community Park adjacent to Erbes Road Pump <br />Station, also known as, Lindero Canyon Pump Station. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Calleguas Municipal Water District possesses a permanent easement for water conduit purposes <br />at Sapwi Trails Community Park. The easement runs in a southeasterly direction from the <br />intersection at Erbes Road and Scenicpark Street to the Erbes Road Pump Station. A non- <br />exclusive permanent easement is now proposed for telecommunications facilities consisting of an <br />underground conduit and fiber optic cable necessary to operate Calleguas's equipment. The <br />requested easement is 10 feet wide by approximately 8 feet long, from an existing pull box along <br />the road to the Station compound. Calleguas is offering $500 in exchange for CRPD's time and <br />cooperation in granting the proposed easement.
