CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />January 10, 2019 <br />7:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Huffer called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and Holt led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Cusworth, Holt, Huffer, Lange, Nickles <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Lewanda and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Teen Center — Rick Tanaka, Teen Services Director <br />Tanaka presented a PowerPoint with information on the Teen Center which highlighted <br />recent activities and programs, including details on various classes, special events, <br />opportunities for teen engagement and drop-in recreation. He stressed the importance <br />of community collaborations and partnerships. Tanaka answered Board member's <br />questions and was thanked for his informative presentation. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Chair Huffer noted there were a number of speaker cards submitted, and that they were <br />all pertaining to a particular agenda Item. As there was no one present to speak on any <br />non-agendized subject, the meeting continued and speakers will be called to speak when <br />the indicated item is presented. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of December 6, 2018 Regular Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />
