It will probably remain closed to regular
programming for most of tomorrow.
The GACC should resume normal activities tomorrow (USO Show for Veteran's Day).
Your staff have done truly amazing job supporting the first responders, American Red Cross and
City Officials as they managed this tragic event.
Wildwood 1 Hill Canyon Fire.
As of 2:30 PM there is a brush fire moving quickly south west in the Hill Canyon 1 Wildwood
area. Matt Kouba is in the field working as a liason to Fire. I have just been notified that
OESIAmerican Red Cross that they would like to have an emergency shelter for mandatory
evacuations associated with this Santa Ana wind blown fire. There is discussion right now
whether they will try to co -locate the shelter with the Teen Center or use Borchard Community
Center as the emergency shelter.
-Jim
From: James Friedi <jfriedi@crpd.org>
Sent: Thursday, November 8, 2018 3:11 PM
Subject: RE: Shooting at Borderline - Fire in Wildwood/Hill Canyon
Another fire - - - approaching from Rocketdyne/Simi Hills.
