TO: Board of Directors <br />FROM: Jan Robertson, Accounting <br />DATE: June 22, 2000 <br />SUBJECT: Report of Investments for May 2000 <br />This report of investments is submitted in accordance with section 5.0 of the Conejo <br />Recreation and Park District Investment Policy adopted January 6, 2000. The summary <br />of investments attached contains the required elements which include: <br />Type of Investment <br />Institution the investment is made with <br />Maturity date <br />Amount of investment <br />Rate of interest <br />Approximate accrued interest <br />All investments are made in compliance with ins laws set forth in the 53600 series of <br />the Government Code, State of California. Investments are made in a manner that will <br />provide the highest investment return with the maximum security. <br />At all times, over 98% of district cash is maintained in some type of interest bearing <br />investment. Currently, investments are in pooled cash funds that allow maximum <br />liquidity to meet the daily cash flow demands of the district. <br />The average invested balance for the month of May 2000 was $8,262,871.
