Approve First Amendment to Operating Agreement with City of Thousand Oaks (City Contract <br />No. 1680-1988) for the Goebel Adult Community Center (GACC) extending term for a period of <br />20 years. <br />2. Approve First Amendment to Land Lease with City of Thousand Oaks (City Contract No. 1681- <br />1988) to provide consistent cessation of use and removal of improvement terms between GACC <br />and Teen Centers. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City and Conejo Recreation and Park District have collaborated on many projects over the years. The <br />GACC and Alex Fiore Thousand Oaks Teen Center are two examples of the enhanced facilities and <br />programs made possible by the long-standing cooperative approach pursued by City and District to deliver <br />public facilities and services. <br />The term of the Operating Agreement for the GACC is expiring and staff is recommending the underlying <br />Land Lease be updated to bring consistency between the Teen Center and GACC in terms of cessation <br />of use and property disposition.
