Lange, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Approve the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Preliminary Budget for <br />Fiscal Year 2018-19 as presented in the attached document. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In accordance with Section 11.3 of the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JPA), MRCA's <br />Preliminary Budget is submitted to the District for approval. The attached Preliminary Budget was <br />approved by the MRCA Board on June 6, 2018 and is scheduled to be approved by the Santa <br />Monica Mountains Conservancy and Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District at their June <br />meetings. <br />The preliminary budget submitted for consideration is the 2017-18 adopted budget. This action <br />provides authority for expenditures beginning July 1, 2018, while providing time for development <br />of the final budget, currently underway.
