CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />February 15, 2018 <br />7:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Holt called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm and Lange led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gibson <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and <br />Lewanda and Administrative Assistant Dickson <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Golden Shield Award Presentation — Southern California Municipal Athletic <br />Federation <br />Bill Bant from the Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation presented the <br />Golden Shield Award to Conejo Recreation and Park District for the work and support <br />it has given to SCMAF and improving the quality of life for the community. This is the <br />third time CRPD has won the award; it also won in 1993 and 2005. The award was <br />presented to Dana Miller, Sports Supervisor. The Board expressed their appreciation <br />and thanked Mr. Bant for his presentation. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />None. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4.0 to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of February 1, 2018 Regular Meeting <br />Chair Holt amended Item 9A regarding committee members for the Conejo <br />Coalition for Youth and Families, adding that staff representatives from local <br />agencies (CRPD, City of Thousand Oaks, and the Conejo Valley Unified <br />
