2009 SENIOR ADULT MASTER PLAN <br />• In 2009, the City Council approved <br />the Thousand Oaks Senior Adult <br />Master Plan (SAMP). 1 <br />• It Included recommendations ° <br />related to Health, Housing, <br />Recreation, Public Transportation <br />and Volunteerism. <br />• Most of the Initial goals of the •t <br />SAMP have been completed. It is <br />now time for next steps and new <br />goals. <br />�r. <br />In 2076 the Thousand Oaks Council on Aging studied <br />a program originated by the World Health Organization <br />and administered through its affiliates around the <br />world. AARP is the affiliate in the United States.
