In addition to new operating costs associated with new construction, the District is preparing for minimum <br />wage increases over the next few years (District staff and increased cost of purchased services and <br />supplies), the combination of both unfunded liabilities associated with the California Public Employee <br />Retirement System (PERS) as well as retiree benefits other than the pension (OPEB), and increasing <br />water costs. <br />No action is requested.
