Fifteen interested bidders attended the mandatory pre-bid meeting held at the site on <br />Wednesday, July 12th. Five bids were received and were opened at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, <br />August 9th <br />Vendor Base Bid <br />United Construction and Landscape $618,000 <br />Berry General Eng. Contractors $849,000 <br />Y. Ko Construction $764,000 <br />Fast -Track Construction $794,000 <br />FS Contractors $450,000 <br />The low bid received from FS Contractors was withdrawn (see attached letter) at the request of <br />the contractor. The request was made due to a clerical error, which increases the price of the <br />bid. <br />Recommendation for rebid is based on the higher anticipated cost of the overall project. <br />Approved project budget is $330,000. Staff would rebid the project as two parts: A) Parking lot <br />and landscaping, and B) Restroom and utility connections.
